About TK NCC Land
TK NCC (Land) aims to maintain its status as a quality Gold Unit, having consistently attained the Gold award in the Best Unit Competition (BUC) over the years, every year. Aside from its achievements in the BUC and various Inter-Unit Competitions, TK NCC (Land) also strives to give cadets an enriching and enjoyable CCA experience. Through a varied training programme, cadets develop physically and mentally to become rugged individuals, as well as outstanding and dedicated leaders.

1. Training Schedule

Please find below an update for our training schedule for the next few weeks.


















2. Events to look forward to

Allow us to inform you of some upcoming events. Details will be furnished at a later date.

• Enrichment programmes

We are looking to enrich our cadets’ training and CCA experiences with programmes conducted by vendors. These may include martial arts, self-defence, outdoor sports. These programmes will be heavily subsidized but each cadet may need to pay a token sum.

• Unit Tee Shirt

We would like to print a Unit Tee Shirt which our cadets can wear with pride in and out of training. Each cadet will have to bear the cost of this tee shirt fully.

• Competitions

TK NCC Land is participating in the Orienteering, Challenge Quest and Shooting Competitions in the late Oct – early Nov period. If your son is selected for any of these competitions, he will need to undergo further training.

We have had good achievements in past years. In 2008, TK NCC Land did especially well in the 1st Challenge Quest Competition (East District Champions, Overall Champions), as well as the Shooting Competition (Part A East District 1st, Overall 2nd). We hope to have your support in our mission to excel in these competitions in 2009.
