Updates on NCC Land

1. Congratulations!

We would like to congratulate our Orienteering Competition Team, consisting of LCP Afiq Abdullah, LCP Dexter Choo, LCP Muhd Irsyad, LCP Sean Lim, and LCP Kenneth Neo, for winning the Bronze Medal in the NCC Orienteering Competition 2009. Their hard work and training has paid off!

TK NCC Land looks forward to more success in the remaining competitions in 2009, namely the Challenge Quest Competition, and Part B & C Shooting Competition. All the best, Landers!

Shooting Training Team: OIC – 3SG Quek Ren Jie

Please note that each Shooting Competition Team will consist of 4 shooters and 1 reserve, to be finalized at a later date.

2. Enrichment activities

TK NCC Land will be engaging vendors to conduct enrichment courses during Routine Training, namely Self Defence (for Part A & B cadets) and Ninja-do (for Part C cadets). We seek your consent for your child to participate in these activities.

Both activities will be FREE OF CHARGE for the cadets, as long as they are present for training. As the school will be paying for these enrichment courses, cadets who are absent from training without valid reason may have to bear the full cost of the course.

3. Annual Camp

TK NCC Land’s Annual Camp will be held on 23 – 25 Nov 2009. The Annual Camp will consist of a good mix of fun activities and NCC-related training. It is a good time for the entire unit come together as one. With the exception of selected Part B cadets who will attend the Freestyle Drill Exhibition Course, this camp is compulsory for all other cadets.
